What is Nail Surgery?

What Causes Ingrown Toenails?
Ingrown or painful toe nails can be the result of a number of factors, including injury to the toe or nail plate, poorly fitting shoes, poor nail cutting techniques or from a thickened or misshapen nail. Usually it is a combination of one or more of these factors. Ingrown nails if caught early can be treated conservatively. However, the more chronic the problem the more likely nail surgery will be the only curvature option.What to Expect
